First of all, I am very happy and honored with this award. This attention to my work only increases the desire to travel to Taiwan as soon as the Covid emergency has passed.
The award-winning book "Come This Stone" is a book born from my need to tell only through images how much man is agitated and destroyed on our planet. Man is always small compared to the land that hosts him and yet he dominates and invades it. A book that I wanted to make as an artifact discovered a few hundred years ago and which, restored, finds life again. Perhaps an unknown artist of the past made an imaginative journey through the time of all wars, also foreseeing the future. This is the attitude I had for doing the whole book. Two years of incessant work without a story board and without preparatory sketches. A journey inside of me with eyes and hands.
Thanks again for this award because I dedicated all my energy to this book. Thanks again and hope to meet you soon!
